The big four O used to hail the end of life as we knew it but with 40 being the new 30 where does that leave 50? Clearly, things don't become any clearer and without the option of a blue rinse and sensible shoes, we need to re-write the manual for the jam-making years.

The picture looks like somewhere in the US? Although you don't see too many cross country skiers here. I see them in my city once in a while after it has snowed.
