Lazing on a sunny afternoon.....

Last weekend I went to a music festival in a meadow in Crouch End in north London....
and a park in Camberwell in south London.
Who needs to live in the countryside?

When did it become the norm for cars, vans bikes etc to drive straight over Zebra Crossings while you are actually still crossing?

Top tip: look left, look right and run for your life........

  2. Our daughter lives in Crouch End …. I LOVE it. There's also Ali Pally where there's always something going on and a Farmers market ……. bringing the countryside to the city !!
Maybe all of the drivers in the outer London suburbs have just come back from Italy / Germany / France !!!! XXXX

  3. It sounds like here (Indiana in the States) where everyone drives like they're trying out for the Indy 500!

  7. Festivals and parks in the sunshine, lovely. Not so lovely to have to scoot across a zebra crossing in mortal danger! xxx

  8. I have almost-daily battles with cars in zebra crossings. I walk a lot, so nothing makes me angrier than entitled drivers.

  9. I was in Hyde Park yesterday and despite the crowds it was great, they'd let so much of the grass grow and there were so many wild flowers and big trees.

  11. My sister used to live in Peckham (still owns the house actually) but am never wondered around that lovely Camberwell park. There is nothing, nothing as beautiful as London parks, I miss the Kensington one like crazy

  12. When we've got good weather, there's no place like home! Except up here in Scotland where we also have midges the size of starlings! I haven't been abroad for years - there's loads to do in the UK and seeing your pix just makes me hunger to return to London!
