Is it raining with you........

This wet 'n' wild weather maybe wreaking havoc elsewhere, but here in north London my rhubarb is coming up roses....... let the harvesting begin.....
Top tip: Go see Her, it's a brilliant movie and that comes from a technophobe-sci-fi-hating-not-very-keen-on-Joaquin fan!!

  4. Love a bit of rhubarb crumble, but yes, this is very early! Is that a Eurythmics song I hear? Well if it's an old fart's musical reference, I would get it, wouldn't I? Not been raining here today, hurray! xxx

  6. I wonder if I could grow rhubarb in Florida? It's such a beautiful vegetable. And tastes so good baked into a pie with strawberries.

  8. They had a "Rhubarb Festival" in Wakefield near me last weekend - Wakefield sits in "The Rhubarb Triangle" in West Yorkshire and makes the most of this very tasty treat! xxxx

  9. Hello,
We love rhubarb and really miss it here in Hungary where it seems to be rarer than Dodo eggs. Yours look wonderful. All pink and juicy no doubt. Oh what delights it can be transformed into.........is there room for two at your dining table?

We keep hearing about 'Her' and might well give it a go. It will, no doubt, take an age to arrive on the cinema screens here!

  12. No shoots here yet, although it has only just stopped raining and snow forecast for the weekend.
As a kid, we would eat the rhubarb dipped in sugar from a little home made paper cone.
Arriving on the 17th of March until the 19th and then coming back to London on the 3rd for 3 days. How do I get in touch with you?

  13. Ah, I wish I knew how to cook it - I know it's quiet simple, but it turned out to be very complicated for me... :) Don't you just love the first signs of spring, though?! So wonderful. x
