Spring to mind......

This week I dog-sat Olive the baby whippet........
The sun shone........
 Spring began to spring......

 and I made a Mother's Day card.........
4 years at art college not wasted............

'People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself.'
Ernest Hemingway, A Moveable Feast

Top tip: homemade cards are the thought that counts....... we are all only ever 10' away from a Pritt Stick.

Top tip - start slowly when your muscles are over 50 years old.

  5. You are so right about your top tip. Why then, I am wondering to myself, do I buy so many, and yet when I need one, can never find it?

  7. Lovely spring pictures, love the card (did you have to eat a tunnocks marshmallow to make it - if so even better!) and that whippet is just gorgeous! Julie x

  16. That card is so beautiful, is it a collage or did you paint it? You need to put in one post all the things you've done, art student, then stylist, then? OLive has great taste what with that fluro collar

  19. Great card--for which I notice you had to undergo the great self-sacrifice of eating a Tunnocks teacake! Oh, the strain of these occasions!

Good quote from The Big Man as well.
