The big four O used to hail the end of life as we knew it but with 40 being the new 30 where does that leave 50? Clearly, things don't become any clearer and without the option of a blue rinse and sensible shoes, we need to re-write the manual for the jam-making years.
Lovely photos and I don't always remember to wear a hat in the sun! Have a good week:)

Isn't this weather just GREAT ? ..... we got back from Croatia a week ago and I have continued in holiday mode !! ..... and, there's more to come. Our friends are on holiday in Portugal and it's hotter here than there !!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy every day of it ..... we never know when it's going to end in the UK !! XXXX
Following on from your title, there was some jasmine growing down a back alley near here -- the scent is quite something when it's been encouraged by all this sun. This is very unusual for Lancashire (where I am).
ReplyDeleteCan I also mention that my friend who came over all isolated and get away from it all is now slightly regretting his decision to move to Stornoway, where it's been raining on and off for weeks.
A mood board for summer if ever there was one.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Beautiful photos, what stunning weather we are having!
ReplyDeleteLooks very much like my summer too - it's great isn't it! Julie x
ReplyDeleteI must remember my hat! Lovely images!xx
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pictures. Ooooooh I just love this song!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite song! Too hot for me, melting right now!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and glorious weather! Don't forget some sun screen under that hat! x
ReplyDeleteThat's a proper English pier!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely hat wearing weather here; especially for those who are a tad thin on top (ahem).
These are such colorful and bright images. Don't we just love summer?

I am in love with those wooden boats!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying all these colors as we're a bit brown and crispy over here.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured our island summer so well.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Your photos are so good they almost make me want to go back to Blighty. Almost.
ReplyDeleteI've had to pass on some of that - too hot for me. I get headaches, and then nasty vertigo attacks so I'm keeping in doors until this cools down a bit.
ReplyDeleteNow however I have the Isley Brothers version of that song in my head, particularly the brilliant solo by Ernie on that track...
Hello! Just found you via Lilac in May and was intrigued by your blog title, so here I am ... I'm 52 so please may I join you?
