Bonjour tristesse......

I'm cold. I have a sore throat. It won't turn into a cold and it won't go away. It fades in and out. Some mornings it's gone and then it comes back. Outside it's trying to snow but only managing to turn the world wet. Oh god I hate February......

And so, lest we forget.....
 I give you this.....
And this......
And this......

Top tip: Get out of the cold and into the warm, go see the Manet show at the Royal Academy and pretend you're in France.....

  1. Eugh, I really know how you feel as I'm the same - freezing, not quite right, a cold sore on my lip and it's grey and wet outside... On days like this I thank my lucky stars for being able to work from the comfort of my own home :-)

  2. Hello:
Oh, we are so sorry that you are unwell. We had something very similar which, sad to say, lasted on and off, just as you describe, for several weeks. Not good news!!

Alas, we shall not get to the Manet but did enjoy hugely 'Cezanne and his World' here in Budapest just before Christmas.

    Snow here!!

  6. The February feeling has me firmly in its grip this year.
Having not left the country in over two years it's definitely lack of sunshine.
Oh to be a grand dame and retreat to the Med for the sake of my health.
    Get well soon. Jx

Was devastated last week that Reg Presley (ne Ball) of WILD THING fame died.

  20. I have always felt that April was SO not the cruelest month. February is by a long shot. We are to get another "monster" snow storm this week. I am so weary of monster snow storms....
