Evidently, it's a crap shoot. I'm with Jayne: what would you advise your daughter to do if she wanted to try it? And about dogs...much easier to train. Honestly, I think you are a brave, brave woman for even wanting to get back into the dating scene!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4316792173764568160.post-85179961051532036752010-04-15T00:34:25.935-07:002010-04-15T00:34:25.935-07:00I didnt like punk at the time - too much spitting!...I didnt like punk at the time - too much spitting!!! But Malc and Viv were brilliant characters - truly unique and inspiring. I'm going to try the chicken - Its a greaqt story. Can't offer any advice on the dating i'm afraid. I think if I were single now, i'd just go for a dog! Far less trouble than a bloke, and often much more faithful. Good luck if you try it, at worst it will make for great blog posting!. xxxxDianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11269721218424514656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4316792173764568160.post-21821289290703440452010-04-14T03:10:13.426-07:002010-04-14T03:10:13.426-07:00I think why not give the internet a go. Just remember all those safety rules you'd tell your daughter if she embarked on such a thing. ;)Jaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15147441311181530837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4316792173764568160.post-3281932401833440002010-04-13T12:21:04.366-07:002010-04-13T12:21:04.366-07:00I imagine you need to have really good self-esteem...I imagine you need to have really good self-esteem to be able to stand internet dating without slitting your wrists. I have never done it, but from the stories I hear, one of two scenarios happens. Either 1) the first time you meet them face to face, they don't like you and you feel dreadful about yourself, or 2) the first time you meet them, you don't like them and then you have to find a good reason to leave after 5 minutes. Yes, you may meet Mr Right in the process... but is it worth it when you consider that even Mr Right is going to leave his dirty socks all over the floor and will never care as much as you do about how clean the car is??

I agree with your point about London - I've met a good chunk of the men in London and can confirm there is something wrong with all of them.... ;0)Scarlethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17976099773570843761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4316792173764568160.post-49613217716411335822010-04-13T10:48:24.283-07:002010-04-13T10:48:24.283-07:00I'm loving the sound of Malcolm McLaren chicke...I'm loving the sound of Malcolm McLaren chicken!
I think give internet dating a go, just make sure you talk to them on msn then on the phone first. You are bound to have similarly hilarious stories!
If you like PIL you may like my friend Princess Julia's cover, on the bottom of an interview I did with her on my blog xxChristina @ Fashion's Most Wantedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06583201549332262341noreply@blogger.com
